1951-02-16 - "Clyde Nelson Purchased Cook-Johnson Grocery in Lyle" - A business change took place in Lyle last week when Clyde Nelson purchased the Cook-Johnson grocery on Grove street adjoining the Cook-Johnson Appliance store. The new owner took charge Thursday and will continue the business and carry the same high grade stock of merchandise at reasonable prices. Mr. Nelson is not a new man in the community. He resides in the Minnereka neighborhood on the farm he purchased last year from Harry Jordan.
