1940-09-13 - "Dr. Eckdale Locates in Lyle" - Dr. J. Eckdale of Minneapolis who was here last week to make arrangements with Dr. Odin Johnson to take up his practice in Lyle, arrived here, Wednesday and will occupy the house vacated by the Johnson family.
1942-07-24 - Dr. and Mrs. John Eckdale returned Friday from a trip to the northern part of the state and reported a fine time. Doc says they will leave this week Friday. He expects to be inducted into the service about the 6th of August. Their many friends will miss them in Lyle.
