1934-05-04 - "Store Changes Hands" - The first of the month saw another change in the Lyle business firms, the interest of John Leuthold in the firm of Leuthold and Dahl having been sold to Robert J. Rauwolf. Mr. Dahl will continue with the business as heretofore. Mr. Rauwolf expects to personally supervise the store. The firm of Leuthold & Dahl of Lyle, Minn., has this 1st day of May, 1934 dissolved partnership. Stock and fixtures have been sold to Robert J. Rauwolf. 1936-03-13 - "Business Place Changes Hands" - R. J. Rauwolf who has conducted a store here the past two years, sold the stock and fixtures the first of the week, to C. E. Otis and Son. The sale will be in charge of the Security Sales Service Co., of Minneapolis for quick action. Everything will be sold to the bare walls - stocks and fixtures. The new owners have been extremely busy rearranging the stock and getting ready for a big sale commencing next Saturday morning.
1936-03-20 - There was a big crowd in Lyle Saturday when the big closing out sale opened at the store formerly operated by R. J. Rauwolf. Ten pounds of sugar were given away every hour during the day...
1936-07-10 - The big plate glass in the front of the Anderson building, better known as the Lund building, recently vacated by R. J. Rauwolf, was broken over the weekend.
